David Tate footwear is for women who want both quality, style and comfort for their feet.  We recently came across a nice looking pair of black leather wide boots by David Tate ‘Gateway’.  For those of you who need lots of options in sizing, you’ll appreciate the choices you have in widths that include wide W, double wide EE and medium B.  And if you also need a wide calf boot, then look at their variable measurements.  The calf sizes actually vary depending on which foot width you choose.  If you need a wider width and have large or extra large calves, then this might be the boot for you.  Reviews are quite favorable for this footwear, although several women commented that this style seemed wider than marked.  So, if you have extra heavy, athletic legs, then you’ll have lots of space in the tall shaft for your calves.  Even the ankle area is bigger than normal.  The current price is reasonable, even lower than expected.  But, the quality of the boot matches the low price.  It’s a nice black boot, but not of exceptional quality.  The David Tate ‘Gateway’ measures up as a true wide width boot, although it’s not at the very high end of the workmanship scale.
