Born Boots: Ankle Boots Born ‘Biddy’

There are not many shoe styles as hot as these red ankle high boots from Born ‘Biddy’.  One of the rising trends this season comes in the form of women’s booties.  Closed toe boots like this offer their own brand of chic, although the open toed variety is very much in fashion too.  This makes for a nice change from some of the pointy toe shoes I’ve worn recently.  We’ve chosen the red leather round toe to review here, but the black and dark brown are equally cute.  The deep, rich crimson red leather wraps from the sole up and across the instep or top of the foot for a sophisticated styling.  The wrap continues around the back and high on the ankle and tied together with a decorative buckle accent.  The tapered heels are 2 – 3 inches and will look outstanding with so many of the dresses found in women’s clothes closet today.  In fact, we’re looking at a new handbag that will go nicely with this short shaft bootie.  It gets a good rating for a dressy shoe that is not too flashy and still delivers a comfortable feeling even after extended wear.  This reviewer assigns two thumbs up for the “Biddy” Born ankle boots in red.  Oh, looks great with a long skirt too.
